How full is Disney in June?

When in June were you considering? Not that I'd have any input, since I usually go in November also. Just curious!

The 10th-17th or the 17th-24th. I originally wanted to do the 3rd-10th, but the kids get out of school on the 1st and if they incur snow days I won't be able to pull them out as dd14 has finals. So I thought the 10th-17th because I figured it probably gets more full as the month goes on. Although I've only been there in November so I have no clue what it's like in summer.

I think the last day of school here is 6/14.

We would normally go during Jersey Week, but this year we were on a cruise...oh wait, you know that. Duh.

we were there 6/18 -6/25/05. Hot heck yes. crowded heck yes. Did we have a greattttt time heck yes. Are we planning to go again this June same time heck yes. 6/17 -6/23/05 probably. We drive 18 hrs from PA and there is no place in the world I'd rather be than WDW regardless of the heat, crowds, and afternoon shower every day.

Plan well and take breaks and you'll have a great time.

The 10th thru the 17th are my exact dates. :earsboy: I know there's some other DISers going around that time. Maybe we should start a thread on the DIS Meet board and get a Meet planned! ::yes::

We were there starting June 11 last year. We camp at Ft. Wilderness so I found the best thing to do is play at the campground during the day and hit the park that stays open 3 hours later after the sun started setting. On the days there were no parks open late (I think Wed and Sat) we made it a sing a long/fireworks/electric light parade and then a late swim day. I realize that staying 8 weeks makes for a non commando trip, but I have found that we got more done at night than we did if we tried it all day. I have to say the parks are somewhat crowded toward the end of June. We have reservations this year for June 2 to Aug 5. We have never been during gay day, but only because of school schedules. I have 5 kids that are 11 and under. I don't mind explaining certain situations to my kids, but I will probably go to the web site, pick another park. I say everyone should have fun, would probably not see anything in particular, but man, my 7 yo already asks tons of questions! :hyper2:
