How flexible are the Childs' menus?

Hi,
I fancy trying the Yachtsman Steakhouse on our 2 week trip (from the UK) in October, however there is noting on the Child's menu that our two kids would even entertain eating. However, the Captain's Grille (also at the Yacht Club resort) has items like hot dogs and nuggets that they do like. Would the Yachsman servers get items like these for us from the other restaurant if we asked nicely? Or would they have these common items available anyway even if not stated on the menu?

Hi latest menu on wdwinfo has chicken stips and hots dogs listed on the childrens menu so they will be fine.

We're also going for 2 weeks in October from the UK and have an adr at Yachtsman.

Not sure about other places but server at Ohana offered to get our 3 year old a separate child's meal - think choice offered was hot dog or nuggets.

Thanks very much both. I was looking at the menu on a well known rival Disney site but the menu there was over a year old! Just booked it!!
