How fast is RotR ILL selling out and other current RotR questions

I’m trying to make some plans for an upcoming trip in a few weeks. We are going Saturday, 1/22. My husband is going and he never goes with us. He hasn’t been to the parks since Galaxy’s Edge opened and he’s a big Star Wars fan so we are going to make it a Star Wars-centric day. I have a reservation for Oga’s, so that’s good. I wouldn’t normally buy ILL or Genie+, but probably will buy one or both for this trip because my husband really wants to ride RotR twice if possible. My MIL is also going, but she is 75 and I’m not sure what rides she will be OK with.

1. How fast has ILL for Rise of the Resistance been selling out?

2. In the past when RotR was a virtual queue, if it broke down while you were in line and you waited it out in line and they cleared the queue they would issue a return pass for later. Do they still do this for standby? I assume they definitely do it for ILL.

3. How accurate have the posted standby wait times been for RotR and Smuggler’s Run. The last time I rode these attractions, RotR standby was overestimated by double and Smuggler’s Run was usually pretty accurate.

1. I’ve been watching the app in preparation for my trip later this week and it seems they run out around noon-ish on busy days.
2. I haven’t been back since standby has been in use but I’ll try to remember to reply to this thread after my trip and answer
3. I haven’t tried either standby line personally but I watched a FreshBaked video where the estimated time for ROTR was spot on (he counted the wait as over starting at the preshow) and MFSR was slightly higher. Apparently the LL people are prioritized a LOT. Also keep in mind the single rider line for MFSR is always very short but you’ll be separated from your party and probably be an engineer

I can’t speak for the standby line, but I had a ILL pass and the ride broke during the return window and it converted to an “any time” pass for the ride for that day, so if you’re considering ILL, purchase one for the morning since the ride breaks down a lot.

On Sunday, my brother and I were relaxing while is 15yo twins were running the park. At 830, they got in line for Rise, and while it said 40 mins, they were off by 8:55. They said it was basically walk on.
Thank you for this report!

Did standby line yesterday around 10:15 A.M. The board said 60 minutes wait, we were off the ride after 55 minutes.
