How fast does WOC FP go these days?

We haven't seen the show in awhile, but I'm going to be there for a field trip with a large group of kids this Saturday. If we wait until noon to get the tickets, will they be gone? This would be for the 9pm show. Not sure if there is a later one or not, but we can only go to 9am. And I assume the only place to get them is still over by Grizzly River Run? Thank you!

When we were there on veterans day, which was also the first day of WOC season of light, I was surprised that they were still dispensing 9 pm tickets at 3:30. The machines are over on the side of the Little Mermaid building

Yes, the WOC Superthread linked in my signature discusses this and has a photo. Since April they moved the WOC FP distribution area.

Yeah, I was surprised all during my trip that FPs were being distributed so slowly. Even on Saturday for the new Christmas show, tickets were available past 3pm for the first show.

It's still a loaded crowd. But with Blue and Yellow being offered in intervals, people don't seem to be rushing to get blue like they used to. Also, I just wonder....just me here....are people so frustrated with not being able to see the show very well due to being pushed to the sides thanks to all the dining packages? Do they just hang out, wait for the FP folks to fight for 90 minutes for a below-average view, and just wander in once the ropes drop? Honestly, I hate the hassle of all the lining up, rushing to another holding are, then running to that perfect spot, only to find out the perfect spots cost you $200 at dinner.
