How fast does the line build for Peter Pan?

If you are going to be there at rope drop and don't intend to go to 7DMT, I would go to PP first. The line builds up pretty fast, but it's nothing compared to 7DMT. We did that last Thursday and were not that close to the front of the crowd waiting to get in. We walked with the crowd and when we got to PP we essentially walked nonstop through the line, including the new bedroom area. With a FP you skip that completely, and I think it is now an integral part of the attraction.

Because the ride itself is so short, you get in and out quickly and can move to your next attraction. In our case, we walked down to Splash Mountain and walked on that and then went over to BTMRR for about a 5 minute wait.

This past Saturday (4/2) I had an 8 AM Crystal Palace reservation and finished up around 8:45. My son and I walked over to PP and there were about 10 people ahead of us at 8:50. I assume they were other breakfast people since the RP crowd was just being let in to the park as we were leaving CP. They did not let us on the ride until 9 AM, and when they did, there was already a line about 30-40 people deep before the RP crowd even got there. It was a little disheartening as I am usually a RD, and not early breakfast person. The CP breakfast was super fun, but at $30 plus tax and tip, was a one and done for us. By the time I exited the ride at about 9:05, the posted wait was 50 minutes and the new, indoor queue was completely full. From now on, I PP will be FP+ only for me!

We were at Rope Drop at 8:25 or so for a 9am opening. They let everyone in at 8:45 (this was June) and then you couldn't run down main street even if you wanted to, you had walk with the rope carrying people. We were right at the rope for the walk all the way through the castle....went straight to Peter Pan and walked on. Now, if you arrive at the park at 9am, by the time you get down there, the line will definitely be 30 min....

As long as you're not in the back of the pack at rope drop, you should be able to ride PP with minimal wait, as long as you keep a brisk pace and go straight there. And, as someone already mentioned, you'll get to see the fantastic queue, which you miss if you FP it.

(copied from another forum) After you do Peter Pan with your Fastpass (or walk on if the waiting line was really short) you can go back around and see the fantastic queue. When you are done with the queue, take the chicken exit.

I like to FP PP because it's better in the evening when my eyes are already adjusted to the dark.
