How fast do they rush you at CRT?

How fast do they rush you through CRT? I have been seeing some threads mentioning how they got their food and then their check like right after.

We have a 8:10am PS and I want to position ourselves perfectly for park opening or at least not long after it, after we have eaten. At first I thought it would be no problem taking our time to eat to be done around 9am, but after seeing some of these threads I wonder if they will be kicking our chairs around then.

We have eaten there twice and have never felt rushed at all. My DS always asked for seconds on things, we always get more coffee and sit and drink it. Many restaurants bring the check when it looks like you are done, but we never felt like someone was just eyeing us to see when we were finally going to get out. Have fun

We had lunch 2 weeks ago and we never felt rushed. The server offer more coffee at the end of our meal. The character interaction was also timed nicely.

I agree, my dd and I ate there last week. We didn't feel at all rushed and sat for a bit after our meal playing I spy and taking it all in. Besides, just because they bring you the check doesn't mean they are gonna hit the eject button. Its a pay one price meal-why would they hold the check, no matter how much you have, it won't affect your bill. We had a great time there.

I hate to be the dissenter but we felt a little rushed when we went last Oct for breakfast. We had a 9:50. Our server only checked on us once and seemed alittle annoyed to have to bring DH more food. Oh well....

We did not feel rushed at all. Was a good time. They liked to cram 5 people around a small table though. ((LOL))

#1 - November 2004 - 8:20 PS - Excellent service, great princess interaction, food was good and hot. Couldn't wait to go back!

#2 - December 2005 - 8:10 ADR - Terrible service, rushed princesses, food was disappointing. Our waitress brought our check before we were even half done eating! Boy was I ever bummed out!

My main point would be, CRT for our family is a hit or miss. We truly had a magical time in 2004, but don't know that we will return after our bummer time in 2005. Hopefully, all will work out for you! Don't allow them to rush you! Enjoy the experience, no matter what!

Thanks everyone for the info. Sounds like we will be able to do our own thing. Now the only thing the people in my party will have to worry about is how much I will rush them to get out for the 9am opening. Gotta get those kids on Dumbo first thing.

Seriously though, from what you guys are saying, it sounds like we'll be able to be on our own schedule. And if we do feel rushed like in some of those circumstances, we'll know ahead of time that it does happen and just take it with a grain of salt and just remember where we are at....WDW!!!!
