How far inadvance can you book?

How far in advance can you book? I would like to go Christmas 2008, we are going in a few days and DH would never agree to go 2 times in one year so I thought Christmas 2008 would be a great time.
 
You can book room-only 499 days in advance. I'm not certain how it works for packages.
