Can you book another Disney Vacation?

We haven't even left for our Disneymoon yet, and my mind is already wondering what I will do once this wedding and trip are over. My best option (in my WDW-lovin' mind) are to book another trip!!

So, I'm thinking about either March (my birthday), or next July (our 1 yr anniversary).

Anyone wanna help me out? Thanks!

First, congrats on your upcoming wedding:) I know when we booked our wedding/honeymoon, we could book a year out - we just didn't know what the final rate would be. So you'd book at this year's rate and then wait for next year's rates. I'm sure you can book as far out as you want - you just won't have the final numbers yet. HTH:)

You can book very far ahead of time and all they tell you if they dont have the exact price for the year is that your price is subject to change.... right now I am planning like 4 trips by the end of this year so I am busy. I too always plan the next one before I leave for one...the tip to not have disney withdrawl is to start planning the next one!!

Thanks Everyone!!! I may have to call Disney tonight and ask!!! Woo hoo!!

My new idea is to book for NEXT year's MNSSHP. Hopefully, all our our 'trying to conceive' efforts will pay off, and will have a little prince or princess to take with us! I'd love a little girl to dress like Tink for my first MNSSHP!!!

So if you book NOW, but don't know exact price, then how do you know how much of a deposit to give them? I'm trying to do it this way, because I know that we can make payments correct, because you have to pay it off by 45 days out. I figured if we did that, then we would be able to do it, instead of paying all at once.

When you book you'll pay the rack rate for one night at this year's price. If you book a package, I believe it's $200 deposit. Then if you get a discount later (when AAA rates come out for example), they refund the difference.

For our last trip, I'd booked one night at POR room-only between packages. A code came out only 2-3 months before our trip - they said they'd refund the difference, but since it was "too close" to our trip it appeared on our room account at check-in. Then it was a use-it-or-lose-it mentality - it didn't actually get refunded to our card. I think the CM said that they would refund it to our CC but we had to pay some sort of service charge (don't remember the exact details). It wasn't a lot of $ and you're in Disney - it's easy to spend;), but it was something I didn't know, so thought it might be good to know.

So if we're planning on staying in a POP resort, then we pay whatever the rate is when we book. Also, when do the new codes (I don't get the code deal, someone explain?) come out? We'd really prefer to do a package, considering we will need airfare and everything, plus we could add on dining and be done, so when do the new packages come out?

Thanks for all the info... I'm a novice at this trip planning stuff. Our Disneymoon was my first attempt at a full-on trip planning, and I won't know how well I did until next weekend when we leave... So stay tuned. LOL

The codes they are refering to are discount codes that Disney releases to a speciefic category of people, for example Florida residents or Annaul Passholders. Sometimes they do release codes to the general public but they havent so far for the year of '05. Also if you ppurchase an Ap you now have to book the room online to use an Ap discount.

You can book your room now and then add a package later when it is closer if you want to add dining.

I called CRO directly several months ago and they told me they would not be accepting reservations for our 2006 dates until 6/30. Since that phone call, we've decided to go with the MYW + Dining package and to book through AAA for the discount. AAA also told us that the dates were set to be released last week and that we would receive a confirmation email with our reservation and deposit information. We have yet to hear anything, but I am hoping that is only due to the holiday. I will be calling on Wednesday, if I don't hear anything on Tuesday.
