How far in advance should I start to look into renting points?

I am planning a trip for early January 2006 at Boardwalk Villas. I want to try renting points this time as it will help cut costs, and it's possible that we may want to look into DVC in the near future.

I don't want to pester anyone too early, but I also don't want to miss out on any opportunities to rent.

Since you are into the 11th month priority home Resort reservation period now, reservations are already being made for January 2006. You probably have a few months to consider renting if your choice is the preferred view villas but, if you want one of the standard view villas, I would make my arrangements now. These villas are limited in number and are very popular with the members because of the lower point requirement. docdds@aol.com
