How far in advance?

How far in advance should I book my hotel for Disneyland? When do reservations for 2017 open? We are looking at going at the end of March and I know it is very busy, so I want to be sure to get a reservation.

If you are referring to onsite hotels, they will open reservations in Jul/Aug.

You should do it the first chance you get. You can always cancel reservations in advance without any penalty. Make the reservations but be on the lookout for deals and if/when one pops up, jump on it and cancel the old reservations. Repeat if necessary.
