Should we book?
We are planning for a few days at DLRP in March 2012 after a longer stay in London.
Our plan is to take Eurostar from London to DLRP and stay 3 or 4 nights, then fly back to US from Paris.

A couple questions:
1) Is March a busy time? Are there European holiday breaks? (It is spring break here in Minnesota)

2) When will package bookings become available? On the website, you cannot book for March 2012 yet.

3) Are there any DVC member discounts (not sure if we will stay on points or buy a package yet)?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! I can plan a trip to WDW in Florida in my sleep, but things are definitely different for France!
TIA!

Hello,:goodvibes

Concerning N°1, French school holidays end on the 11th of March 2012 and there's no public holidays in March

The rest I have no idea but I'm sure someone will be along who does know :thumbsup2

We went on 21st March this year and it was our first time there so not a lot of help I'm afraid. It obviously wasn't as busy as 'peak' times but was full of Italians so may have been a holiday there.

I'm trying to find out prices for 13th November but even those dates are unavailable yet on the website so can't book train - grrrrrr!

Winter prices are apparently going to be released on the 7th June so this should include March as the season runs until April:goodvibes

Thanks for the replies! I am glad to know we're not going during a busy season. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll offer a discount too!

I will continue to research and I'm sure I'll have more questions!!

Hi Sheree! :wave2: Nice to see you over here!

Regarding crowds, I wanted to add the suggestion to go during the week if at all possible. When we went in March of last year, we were there Friday through Sunday...Friday was fine, but Saturday and Sunday were very busy! (60 minute waits for both Pirates and Phantom Manor, DLP's HM ) It was not a holiday weekend or a school break, either. I hear that is pretty typical for DLP--much quieter during the week, especially fall through spring. :thumbsup2

Happy planning! :goodvibes

That's great! We are planning on possibly arriving on Sunday but would stay until probably Thursday.
