How far in advance to book towncar?

DH and I are planning our next trip for Oct and decided to use a towncar service this year instead of Mears. Sorry if this question is a repeat but how far in advance is suggested to book our ressie with the towncar service?

I would book as soon as you have you flight plans.

You will need to give them your flight information, times, etc. so that they will know when and where to pick you up.

I believe most Towncar companies will make the reservations for you, then you will pay cash to the driver. Don't forget to tip him, too. I don't remember if you have to use a credit card to make the reservation, just that you pay the driver cash.
