We are going to the worl end of Nov for 11 days and want to do a few character meals while there. When should I call to get our reservations for these?? Also what is the best ones to do for an 19-20month old?

I would make a decision on all of your ADRs, especially character meals, and be ready 180 days from the beginning of your vacation/reservation date. I would say for a 19/20 month old the best would probably be the Crystal Palace in MK because they have Pooh characters and they have them all day for every meal. If you decide to book Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) you must pay in full at the time of your ADR and it does fill up fast.

I would not wait too long after you 90 days... the end of November is busy if you are talking Thanksgiving, but gets somewhat quieter after the weekend.

1900 Park Fare breakfast is nice too - they have Eeyore and Pooh, as well as the Mad Hatter and Alice. I am sure the little one would not know the last two, but it's another option.

Chef Mickey is always a good choice -breakfast or dinner -they have the classic characters.

If you want Princesses - either CRT mentioned in the other post or PSB at Akerhaus/Norway in EPCOT. I have only done breakfast there, can't comment on dinner.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

DD9 and I have pretty much hit them all in recent weeks, going to 1900 Park Fare for Cinderellas Gala Feast tomorrow eveing, and Chef Mickey on March 9th, and CRT on 4/22!!!

Remember they may or may not like the characters. DS23mo loved the fuzzy characters, but the 'face' ones were unnerving for him(the ones that looked like real people). It was like he didnt mind hugging a giant stuffed animal, but the ones that looked like strangers were intimidating.

So we did CRT, but he didnt really enjoy it (but I did like starting our morning early in the MK).

We also did Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace. We preferred CM, but had a great experience at CP too. I would say, if you have some time NOT in the parks (at night after AK closes, or your arrival evening, etc) CM was awesome and totally worth it. If you dont have a lot of park time, just stick with CP on a day you plan on doing MK, that way you dont have to leave the parks.

Definitely make some ressies at the 180 day mark, then if you need to try to change them later you can try, but you will not be stuck without a character meal.

Does anyone have the link to that ADR calendar? You know the one where you plug in your dates and it tell you when to call? Thanks in advance!! :)

I made our ADR's last night for our trip in August...we were 141 days out and did not have any problems getting what we wanted....the most off in a time was 1 hour, but the others we got within 5-20 minutes what we said...we were flexible with our times anyways. We booked Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, CRT, H&V Fantasmic package, Donald's Breakfastsaurus, & Sci-Fi Dine In.

The Supercalifradulistic Breakfast was great.

My kids LOVED the Mad Hatter and of course, Mary Poppins was great with them. Alice was great too, but again, the Mad Hatter stole the show!!! :rotfl2:
