How far in advance has anyone been able to make DLP reservations?

Well, the airline itinerary is all set for our trip to France next summer. Being that we will be in the viscinity, and given our Disney addiction, we can't pass up the opportunity to see how Disney is done a la Francais. So, we will be spending a couple of nights at DLP. We have decided on the Newport Bay Club and will be using our DVC points. I just checked with Member Services and they have nothing in the system for DLP past March of next year.

For those of you who might have used DVC points to stay at DLP, how far in advance were you able to make reservations? Member Services couldn't tell me much, other than to keep trying back.

We were able to make a January 2003 reservation at about the seven month window. It seemed to depend on when the contracts were put into place for teh exchanges.

We stayed at the Disney Land Hotel and it was great. New Port bay looked very nice and all are an easy walk to the parks.

FYI if oyu don't know , you get admission with your stay and a very nice breakfast. I really enjoyed DLP and thought many attraction were better than WDW or DL. i.e. Big Thunder and Pirates.
