How far in advance do you purchase tix?

We leave in a month and a week. Still haven't gotten park tickets...was planning to wait until May to pay for that and resort to accrue more Visa dollars. We just ended up with over $1000 bill to get DH's truck fixed...3 problems, long over due so we knew it would be high and had money to cover it. Now I look to over $1000 for tickets and resort and I go !!!!!! But this is how we always do it, paying for airfare right away, saving food, spending money, and rental car, then resort and tickets last.

How far in advance does anyone else get their tickets and/or pay everything off??

I just purchased my tickets online (good discount noted thru Mousesavers that expires next month) and our vacation is in July. Now, I'll work on finishing paying off the room.

I don't purchase the tickets until I'm sure I'll be at Disney. Plus I want to give myself enough time to have them sent to me.

I buy my tickets at the Disney store by my house. You can buy them the day before you leave. You will not find a better price and there is no shipping cost. Best of all you can pay by check, cash or credit card.
