how far in advance do I need to book ?

I mean Im bouncing between Feb / April Now LOL
of 2005..
SO how far in advance do I need to book a 7 day cruise ?

Also how much do I need to pay DOWN.. can i pay thru a travel agent ? because we dont hav ea credit card
I know that causes some probs but .. Id like to pay as much as possible in cash wehn the tiem comes..
also how do they do the ship costs ???Onboard .. food shows etc.. thanks so much !kat

You have to pay a $250 per person deposit when you book the 7 day. Yes, you can pay it in cash with a TA...or check or credit card. All the food, entertainment, etc. is included with the cruise cost. You do pay extra for soda outside of the dining room, smoothies and bar drinks...photos, spa treatments, gift shop, and tips.

The advantage to booking early is that you get the best "early booking" discount. If the cost of your cruise (in your category) goes down, DCL will give you the lower price. Most of the time, the closer you get to the cruise date, the higher the price goes.

Feb is off season, so may be a little cheaper than April.
