How far in advance can I book AAA rates?

I'm going to be booking a room for next June, and I'm wondering how far in advance does WDW give AAA rates for room only reservations? Will I have to wait until January to call CRO and get those rates or has anyone been able to get them now for summer of 2005?

I can tell you from experience for my upcoming trip that to get the AAA rate I had to book my upcoming trip in December, 2003. They only alot a certain amount of rooms at that rate so you have to grab them when they are available. For my Swan stay they only required a one night's deposit to hold the room so that's not bad at all.

I just checked yesterday, and still no AAA discounts after December. The CM I spoke to said to try in a couple of weeks.

I booked for July '05 with DU. The AAA rates are not out yet but they will apply them to our reservations as soon as they are. They will also apply any other discounts (which can be alot better then AAA) that may come out after that for our dates of travel.

To Tink and Squirt's Mom: how was your experience with using DU? I've wondered whether to use them or just go through Disney directly for reservations. I'm not looking at a package, though, just a room only reservation. Does DU focus mostly on package deals?
