Hi. We are looking to take out first trip to WDW in May 2009 and are wanting to rent points to be able to stay at a DVC resort. How far in advance should I request to rent?

We will have 2 adults and 3 kids and I am thinking about staying in a one bedroom. The fact sheets state that the one bedrooms sleeps 4 adults and 1 baby. Is Disney really strict about this? In all honesty, my 3 children would be equal to or less than 2 adults easily. A 2 bedroom would be unnecessary and too pricey.

Thanks in advance for the info. I know 2009 seems like forever away but I am a compulsive planner and I think I found a new place to nurture my Type A planning obsession. pixiedust:

Members may reserve May 2009 begining in June 2008, at their home resort.

Member Services is currently booking 5 people of any age into one bedroom units. They will not provide a cot, rollaway or other bedding for the 5th person...no sheets or pillows and no towels.

Additional towel packs (4 Bath, hand and washcloths) are $6 from housekeeping. You will need to provide your own air mattress or sleeping bag or any additional bed linens required.

As Occupancy is a hot topic on the DVC boards, it is limited to this thread, DVC Occupancy Thread

You may continue the discussion there, if you wish to do so.
