How far in advacne should we book the autotrain?

We are going in May 2007. When should we book the train? Is Oct or Nov. good enough?

The earlier the better. I believe you can book up to 11 months in advance (but check with Amtrak). The train's price structure is set up so that as the train fills up,the prices also go up, so the earlier the better.
