Its probably one of the 2 closest hotels you can get to DL! You'll walk across the crosswalk at the stoplight directly in front of the hotel and you are there! Probably 3 min from your room to the baggage check at the central plaza. The Tropicana is a basic no frills motel. It is clean and close. the pool is in the center of the parking lot but is surrounded by palm trees. There are a few rooms above the port cochere that have interor hallways, vaulted ceilings and private balconies. Request one at check in if available. But trust me and just skip the free continental breakfast.
