How far from Studio City to DL?

I have a brother of whom we are trying to convince to meet us (the rest of the family) in DL. He's objecting in that he says it is a really long drive. How long does it take to get from Studio City to DL under "low" traffic conditions (relatively speaking of course) and under heavy triffic conditions? Thanks!

Try using Yahoo! Maps or mapquest. You can enter your brother's address and DL. It will give you an estimated driving time - based on good traffic conditions.

On a traffic-free day, it should only take about 40 minutes. That's nothing for So. CA!! It's not that bad. If you hit traffic, it's a whole different story.

40 or so minutes on a great day, and I've experienced a 2 hour trip when traffic was bad. I'm sure it could get worse if you don't know alternate routes. It's really a crap shoot most days, although I've beeen consistently lucky leaving bright and early to get down there (by 7:30).

I agree with the above posters. I used to live in Studio City (near Coldwater Canyon and Moorpark to help give your brother an idea of timing) and it was about 40 minutes if it wasn't rush hour or busy time on the freeway.

Thanks for the info! Mapquest says about 40 minutes but I figured that would be without traffic. So, worse case scenario, the drive would be about an hour and a half to 2 hours? That's not bad. We are going to have to kick his be-hind in line.
