How far from OKW to MK?

Is it truly a 15 to 20 minute bus ride from OKW to MK? Would it be quicker to drive, if this is true?

I don't think so. We make a lot of trips to MK (with a 3 year old) and usually have a car; but we ride the bus to MK (and drive to the other parks, etc.)

We find that after the bus leaves the OKW grounds, there are no other stops and you head straight to MK (I think some of the buses at other resorts are shared, and may make some stops before going to MK). Also, you get dropped off at the "bus terminal" fairly close to the gates.

So , I don't think it would be any longer of a bus ride than a car ride; and you end up closer to the gates.

From the "unofficial guide book" I have, it also indicates that riding the bus to MK from OKW is usually faster than driving.

I think that most will tell you that the bus will definitely be quicker if you are going to MK. The bus will drop you right at the front gate. If you drive though you have to park at the TTC and take either the boat or the monorail to the MK. The parking lot at TTC is enormous and you will likely need to walk quite a ways to the boat or monorail.

No comparisson. The bus is MUCH faster. You don't have to go through the TTC or make that long treck in from the parking lot. We had a good comapison at all parks two years ago when we had a large group in a GV. Some chose to drive while the rest of us took the bus. In every instnace but one, the bus people arrived before the drivers. The only time that was different was after Illuminations one night when the drivers were parked at Beach club and the bus people had to go all the way through the park. The next night, when the drivers were in the Epcot lot, the bus people still beat them after Illuminations.

no it is around 10 minutes if not less - but you need 10 minutes to go to all the stops at OKW. so I would say 10-20 minutes.

We have a car but the Bus is much quicker.
