how far from Courtyard by Marriott to S&D

Booking ressies for employees who have a convention at the Swan & Dolphin in early April. Found $99 rate at the Courtyard by Marriott at WDW - how far to the Swan & Dolphin from there? Thanks!

Assuming they have a car, I'd estimate 10 -15 minutes.

I've done this ride a few times with our car from the Swan hotel to DD shops. It takes about 5 minutes except during rush hr. That may take 10 minutes. It's fairly close, traffic tends to back up a bit occasionally.

Is the S/D sold out for the convention dates? Keep in mind the S/D are separate hotels. They are across from each other and have separate parking lots.

It is about 5 minutes when no traffic. I too would like toknow if the dates you want are sold out or if there is another reason for staying there?

I've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott twice this year as a 'starter' hotel for our vacation and I can't say I think 99 dollars is a good rate considering what is around the hotel. I paid 20.01 and 29.00 per night each trip.

Is choosing another hotel out of the question? 99 dollars is steep and I think there are other hotels right within the vicinity for that price that might be more spacious.
