How far from airport to DC?

DD and I are going to DC, but will be staying somewhere near the airport the night before as DH and DS are flying back home at 7 a.m. on the morning we go to DC. Does anyone have any info on the Holiday Inn airport and about how long it would take for us to get to DC? I prefer to stay at HI because I have free rooms coming, and they have a free shuttle to the airport so DD doesn't have to get up before 5 a.m.

It would take about 30 minutes to get to DC. Enjoy.
