How far do you travel to camp at FW.

It's 1,222.19 miles from here to Disney. This will be the farthest we have ever pulled our camper.

1000 miles almost always 1 day DW helps with driving, leave at 3 AM get to fort about 6 PM not bad that way for us & ew are 1st at crackle barrel yum-yum.

675 miles for us. We drive to St Augustine on day 1 and overnight at the Flying J. Then a short drive the next morning and early check in.

About 900 miles for me. I will split it up over 3 days though. I want to keep my driving days short. Also, I plan to stay the second night in Lake City so I only have about 3 hours to the World.

1,005 miles for us, stay two nights on the way. Don't like to drive more than 400 miles in a day driving a motorhome towing a car.

650 miles each way.

I agree that the drive to vacation is always shorter than the trip back. We might stay at a hotel on the way home if we're getting tired.

Oh, for those of you who aren't hauling, here's a cool website through AAA that will estimate your gasoline cost for the trip based on your make/model/year of your vehicle, where you're driving and the average gas prices for the region:

We have about 800 miles one way. We hope to move closer one day.

688.70 miles from DS's school since that's where we always leave from when camping. We do the interstate all the way with a sleepover in Valdosta on the way down.

1184 miles says Mapquest, but it feels like so much further! This time I told DH we're not driving right through, it makes for 2 grumpy drivers and 2 antsy kids.:headache: We'll split it up with a stay in a Walmart lot and be there the 2nd day sometime.

Brad

I think you must not live to far from me. I live in southwest Michigan, near Kalamazoo.

600ish miles, van is packed the day before because I know I'll be 'too tired to sleep (we heard that!)', we leave at oh dark 30 and glide through silent and sleeping cities. We are officially on our way to Disney when our tires first hit I-95 and we're watching the sunrise on our left. Goal is to reach the Fort between 2 and 3 and get camp set up before sunset. Man that makes me wish I were on the way NOW!!

It's 1,453 miles back.

We live 45 miles from the fort. It usually takes us about 40 to 45 min. to get there. We take back roads and stay off of I-4 except for about 2 miles. If we get slowed down, it is ALWAYS on the I-4 stretch.

We are 900 ish miles from the Fort. Usually takes us 18-19 hours to get there which we divide between 2 days. The 1st day we do like 12 hours and then the remaining 6 on the 2nd. It's definetly worth it!!

We are 901 miles from the Fort. We usually leave at 4:00 in the afternoon and travel all night with a mandatory stop at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast and arrive around 1100 the next day.

88 miles Takes us anywhere from 1hour and fourty-five minutes to two days depending on traffic. :rotfl:

550 miles from Door to Ft. Wilderness entrance. We will split it over two days!

We must be neighbors. I'm approximately 560 miles to FW, takes two days to get there but we come back in one day. What a sad ride that is!
