How far ahead can I plan?

Last year, I could make concrete plans for September like 13 months out, but that was when Disney Club was still around. I have a four-night trip on the Wonder for the 10 of us, in May (2005) but that's just making us all as happy as it should be because we want to go back to WDW.I'e searched, but I don't see a time frame that agents will start talking to me about making my plans. Does somebody have dates?

Oh, I'll cancel the cruise cabins asap.

You know its amazing to me that you can call up for Hoop-Dee-Doo tickets up to two years in advance, but you have to be staying on property to go (unless that rule has changed). So anyway my point is, I would think that you can make reservations that far in advance with out problems. Oh and I was also talking to a disney employee that said at fort wilderness people when they are leaving make thier reservations for the next year. I hope this helps a little!

Anyone can make ressies for this show 2 years ahead, and anyone can attend. We have reservations for this summer and are staying at Marriott Grand Vista. Last time we went (2001) we were staying at Orange Lake Country Club.

There aren't any restaurants that require you to be on site to eat at.

Most TA's won't book a WDW trip for you beyond a year out because they have no pricing to go by. You can do your own room-only reservations now thru CRO or WDTC but they cannot guarantee the rates. If you already know your dates and where you want to stay, by all means call Disney directly and make your reservation.

I believe I started making my December 2002 plans in June 2000. Of course some of those plans changed a bit over the course of the 2.5 years.

I made our Room Ressies in October 2000.
