How exactly does the baby swap work?

My husband and I are taking our 2 kids (4 years old and 17 months old) to WDW in February, and we are trying to figure out exactly how the baby swap works. Obviously, the 17 month old can't go on some things, but both my husband and I would like to experience the rides with our older dd. If we tell a CM that we want to baby swap, and he goes thru the line with older dd, rides and then comes back to me to take the baby, do I then ride alone, or can older dd ride again with me?

Thanks!

Your DD can ride with you. I believe the rider swap is for you and up to 3 guests. Be aware that the Rider Swap is up to CM discretion as to if they have to see your baby or not. (Another whole thread devoted to that discussion!)

I would also encourage the use of Fastpass in conjuction with the Rider Swap as it will help keep your kids happy!

Have a great time!
