How exactly does FP+ work with a long hotel reservation?

I’m looking into a trip for August 2019 and I’m thinking I’ll check in on Tuesday the 6th and check out on Saturday the 17th with a late flight. We would be getting a 10 day ticket and skipping a couple days from Disney to do Universal, etc. My question is, 60 days before the 6th, will I be able to get FP+ for the 17th? Did I hear somewhere you can only get FP+ at a max of 70 days in advance (other than CL FP+)?

If you’re staying onsite, you can book FP for the length of your stay as long as you have the tickets to cover it.
