How easy is pool hopping?

I did a search but couldn't find an answer. I think it's great that pool hopping is allowed for guests, but is it really that easy to do? How do you get from one resort to another? Is there a decent place to change so you aren't walking around the whole Universal property with dripping kids? I could lie and say it's only the kids that want to try all 3 pools, but I do too. :cool1:

It takes a bit of effort, but that's what DS and I did the year RPR opened and we stayed there - rented a cabana for the afternoon (that's when you could split the day) at HRH pool - be careful, that's how we fell in love with HRH ;) !
You have to take the boat from your resort to City Walk and get another boat to the resort you're going to - ditto going back. Then you just find the pool. I know at HRH there are restrooms right next to the Beach club where you could change - I'm sure the other resorts must have the same - just haven't used them. We love both RPR and HRH pools - walked over to PBH last month to check out their pool for our next stay and it looks really nice, too. Enjoy!

We did the same thing when we stayed at RPR. It seems my boys missed a slide. We walked though and then took the boat back. The shuttle bus may go direct to resort also. It was fun to pool hop!

* Tip*
If you are taking the boats from resort to resort let the captain know. He can call ahead to the next boat to wait if its just about to leave.

We always pool hop! We like swimming at PBH and we love RPR and HRH too. but we love staying at RPR for the South Pacific theme.

Yep, just take the boat to CW, then change boat. Or use the bus. Yes, there's a bathroom next to the pool where you can change.

last year dd and I were staying at PBH and pool hopped over to HRH. pool was great. They also let us use the HRH locker room so we showered (they had everything we needed i.e. liquid soap,shampoo, conditioner, disposable razors, mousse, hand lotion, blow dryers, towels) and headed right back to the parks. It was great and there was no charge to use locker room. My dd liked HRH so much we added a few extra days at the end of our upcoming trip and are staying there.

We are staying at the HRH in May. If I'm reading this thread right, pool hopping at the two other resorts is allowed?

If u book a cabana at the resort u are hopping to it makes it more enjoyable
