We are going the week before Memorial Day weekend and I was wondering how early we should arrive at the parks (esp. MK ::MickeyMo ) to make sure that we are able to get past security checks and get as close to the front of the line at the turnstiles as possible  I know with the new MYW tickets that the finger scans are slowing things down so I want to try to be ahead of as many of those problems as possible :flower:

We've not been there on Memorial Day, but have been during busy summer months. We try to be at security 1/2 hour before park opening.

We are going the week of May 15th (same week?) and my mom and I are already trying to figure that out also....I know early....I wanna say maybe 45 min to an hour early? We like watching all the "pre-opening" characters and stuff

We'll be there for my sister's wedding the 18-22. The UG has that week's crowd level at a 3, "very light crowd conditions". It goes up much higher for Memorial Day weekend, can't remember the number exactly though.

I'll be there May 14th-May 21st and purposely scheduled three tours at 8:30am and an early breakfast PS for CP, so I'd be inside the parks early and could avoid those early security and turnstile crowds.

Do the busses start running an hour before park opening or is it a little earlier than that?

Thanks for all the replies and please keep the advice coming on this :flower:

We'll be there May 21 - 29. I was just planning on being at opening for about 1/2 hr before, but I guess we'll have to go earlier. Especially since we're offsite this year. Oh, well
