We are going to Sea World on December 16th. Does anyone know how crowds are at that time of year? I'm not sure how early to get to the shows. We have 7 days to do Sea World because we got our tickets with our Discovery Cove reservation, but I would like to see as much as possible in one day.

45- 30 mins early. That what I usually do because I like seats close to the slide outs and in the middle. Night shows about and hour early.

I would agree with 30 minutes. It depends on what's important to you. Do you want to sit in the sun or the shade? Do you mind if your view is partially obstructed by a pole? Do you want to be in the soak zone? At least if you there early enough you can try out all these options before deciding.:)

we go in august and only go about 10=20mins early, we dont like having to sit around waiting!!

It really depends on the show.

The theatre with the pet show is small and fills quickly. The Aquatica show is large and not usually full. Clyde and Seamore usually fills up quickly. We have walked into Shamu and the Dolphin arenas at showtime and have always been seated. The nighttime Shamu show was a walk in during our visit in October.
