can you be? I am thinking for dining and for BBB? I am still working on touring plans and it got me wondering.

Speaking for dining only--I've never done BBB--I believe it is recommended you arrive 20 minutes before your ADR. You could be seated on the spot or may have to wait until after your scheduled time, depending on availability. You could probably show up 30 minutes early to 15 minutes late and not have a problem, but I would not go outside that window--my personal preference.

Restaurants recommend that you arrive 5-15 minutes early.

If you're more than 15 minutes past your reservation time a restaurant could put you on the wait list without a problem, you could be considered a walk up and have to wait longer or your reservation could be cancelled. It depends on how busy the restaurant is or it's policy.

There have been times when I've been really hungry way before my ADR and walked up to see if we could get in. It's worked for us, but I know that's not always the case. I specifically remember being an hour early at Les Chefs de France and they seated us immediately.
I have read here that if you tried this at Be Our Guest though, they would ask you to come back no sooner than 15 minutes before your ADR.
As far as arriving late, Disney knows things happen and they will do their best to accommodate you. I've never heard of anyone being completely turned away, but you may have to wait a while if they're very busy - figured you for a no show - and put another party at your table....

Same thing at CRT. They won't even check you in more than 10 or 15 minutes early. They will make you go away and come back.

So does Le Cellier at EPCOT.

We have arrived half an hour once to Crystal Palace due to a transportation hold up and we were seated with only a 5 minute wait. It depends on the restaurant, how busy they are. We were prepared to wait until we could get a table.

We try and show up about 20 minutes early for our ADR's. Tends to work every time to get you in at your scheduled ADR. We have never done the BBB but plan to when we take my niece in a couple years.

We usually arrive ~15 min early for ADRs. Last visit, we were over an hour late due to a transportation breakdown to Akershus. The host was very accommodating & we were seated right away (after our pic with Belle, of course).

We are doing BBB for the first time during our upcoming visit. My travel agent stressed to be there 20 min early.
