How early is too early?

We've only done a few ADRs, this trip we have one every day. How early can you show up for your scheduled time?

Since they say show up at least 15 minutes before your reservation, we've arrived extra early a few times and I've tried to check in 30 minutes before my ADR at CRT and BOG but I was turned away. I'm sure it varies depending on the place though.

We generally check in 15 minutes early, but on a few occasions have arrived earlier than that. Some places will allow you to check in, but many others tell you to come back. 'Ohana is one that usually send you away and tells you come back 10 minutes prior. I think it all depends on how the estaurant is doing that night. Busy and backed up? No chance you can check in early. If they are slow or can accomodate you? Why not?

At Disney now and have been taken in almost an hour early at TRex , chef Mickey and whispering canyon. Only boma did we wait later than our reservation
