How early for HDDR?

We have Cat 1 tickets to the 4:00 HDDR show and I'm wondering what time we need to be there and more importantly, what time we need to be walking out the gates of MK to get there at that time. We'll be taking the boat to FTW, unless someone has a better suggestion on how to get there which bring me to another question - will the boats run if it rains? If not, how should we plan on getting there?

I would leave MK no later than 3:00. Boats and wait time can be sketchy at best. They usually start checking folks in about half an hour before the show.

Lightning... no.

You'd then need to take a bus to Ft Wilderness Campground.
(Then, likely an "internal bus" to Settlement bus stop for the Hoop.)

In the case of lightning, leave MK at least a half-hour earlier than you would for the boat (so at least 90 min. before the Hoop start time.)
