How early does the boats and buses from Fort Wilderness start?

Need to get to a 8:00 breakfast at GF. Wondering if we can take boat over From Fort Wilderness and then hope on monorail to the GF.

I don't know what time the buses(transportation) starts running but I do know you need to allow a lot of time to get there using the WDW transportations system. Just got the Birbaum WDW guide book and they said at least 45 minutes from point A to point B, more time during busy seasons like Christmas, etc. Remember, there are stops in between....buses going to other hotels, etc. This is why my husband insists on a rental car. I think you also have to get to dining reservations 10 minutes early. With a 8 a.m. reservation you will have to leave early.

thanks for your reply. In the past we have always driven to meals as well. However we will be going to Magic Kingdom after breakfast and I believe we park at GF for only 2 hours, unless er do valet parking. So we may just hop a Taxi over. Thanks for your advice.

Boat service to CR starts running at 6:45, and the Resort Monorail starts at 7:00. You should be OK if you're at the dock by 7 a.m. at the latest.

I don't know what time the FtW internal buses start up; you can ask a bus driver on one of the internal buses. The furthest campsite is about 1 mile from the dock, so it's walkable; the cabins are a bit further.

Buses start early so folks can get to the trading post, Trail's End, etc. You'll be able to catch a bus by 6:30 or so. You can ask at the check-in desk.

One year we stayed in a cabin close to the bus stop and yes, they start early. Those kneeling buses sure are loud!

2) They get to resorts about 6:45am.
3) The boat goes to CR, then you can walk or monorail to MK.
4) The buses go to all four parks parks.
5) Getting to an 8:05am ADR is no problem.

There is no bus from FtW to MK.

The boat from FtW to MK does not start at 6:30; I think it starts 30 minutes before park opening. Only the boat to CR starts at 6:45.
