How early does Magical Express Start??

Hi...hope this is where i should post this question. We will be taking a red-eye flight out from LAX so we can make the most of our first day in the world. We will arrive in Orlando at 5:15 am! Does the magic express begin anywhere that early? I tried looking on the disney site, and it only states that if you arrive after 11pm, you'll have to bring your luggage yourself to the welcome center. Anyone else run into this situation?

I would also like to know since our flight gets in to MCO at 7:12am.

As soon as anyone they expect arrives.

ME has buses entering and leaving the airport in full swing at 7 AM. If your homebound flight leaves at 5:30 in the morning, ME will pick you up at 2:30 in the morning. Occasionally vans are used in the wee hours instead of the large buses.

After the last evening flight with happy guests aboard comes into Orlando, when their ME bus gets to the resort, it will only be an hour or maybe just minutes when will be people sadly waving Mickey goodbye to board the bus back to the airport.

They run 24/7! I arrived in April at midnight and took ME.

If you arrive very late in the evening or really early in the morning they will recommend that you pick your luggage up at the baggage carousel, instead of having it delivered to your room. Then the driver will load it onto the nearly empty bus for you and unload when you arrive at the hotel.

They recommended we do this so we didn't get awakened at 3am when our luggage arrived at the hotel!

There was only my family and 1 other person on the ME bus when we arrived at midnight!

I was just on the Disney site and it said the buses run from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., but arrangements could be made if your flight arrives later. I'm not sure about earlier.

Last year we took the red eye out of LAX and got into MCO at 5am. Magical Express was there to pick us up. We had no issue getting to the resort or getting our luggage. You will have no problem with it being that early that morning.

I was totally nervous too. Dont be. Everything went smoothly and we had no issues with Magical Express. They collected all our bags at MCO except our carry ons. Those were the bags we checked at LAX. We got to the hotel, checked in, and our room was ready. We were able to drop our carry ons and make it to MGM before opening. When we got back in the evening, our checked bags were in our room waiting for us.

Going back was a little tougher since our flight was leaving at 6am-ish. We were out and waiting for Magical Express before 4am. They desk that you can check your lugage at was not opened yet. But it wasn't that big of a deal to get it loaded onto the bus. It was just like regular check in. I do believe there was a way to pre check in at the desk if it was less than so many hours. But we were outside that time frame.

All in all, using Magical Express was easy and we had no issues. We will be using them again for the same times as our last trip.

Stacerita: Thanks again...what a relief to talk to someone that had to handle the same issues! Our flights are exactly the same...we arrive at MCO at 5:50 am and our return flight leaves MCO at 7:40 am! I was worried about how they handle both ways...thanks to you, I don't have to worry any more. Now I'll go and find something else to worry about ! Can you tell that we don't travel all that much? Usually do something local or just Mexico/Nevada! I'm just a bit (understatement) excited about this trip!

We are heading for WDW on 8/14. I have to fly down ahead of the family to visit relatives. Will I be able to meet them at the airport and join them on the bus if I did not arive by plane that day? Is this clear?

I am fairly certain that it runs round the clock. Our flight did not arrive to Orlando until 11:15 P.M. (It should have arrived at 6:00, but there was bad weather at O'Hare). For our return trip, we had to be on the bus at 6:20 A.M. for a 9:30 A.M. flight (they get you to the airport 3 hours early).
