When hubby and I went last May for a few days Pirates was closed (JUST the week we were there). We have our trip planned Feb 27-March 4, and I read someone had heard that Pirates was going to be closed again...I don't think I can get hubs to go again if his favorite ride will be closed AGAIN.

3-4 weeks, sometimes a little less if things change.

Pirates is closed 2/3 through 3/15. We're going to JUST miss it on our next trip - our last day is 3/14.

Unfortunately Disneyland does a really poor job of posting when things will be down. If you are booking a trip months in advance its just a roll of the dice sometimes but some rides do go down regularly at certain times of the year.

oh SAD!!! This sucks so bad. He said "wow, that really ruins the whole trip for me...I don't even want to go now". :(
