How early do the resort buses run?

What time do the buses start running in the morning? We have ADR for Cheif Mickey at 7:20 am and we are staying at All Star Movies. Can we catch a bus early enough to get there?

Also how late are the stores open at Down Town Disney?

Subscribing, but w/ a bit of info as well. I also have an early ADR at Chef Mickey's. (7:50, and we're at AllStarSports). I've gotten comments that run the gammut on whether or not you'll be able to make it via bus. The buses generally start running an hour before park open from what I've heard, so check to see if its an EMH day, etc. But, the problem seems to arise from having to take a bus to the Transportation center and then transferring to get to the Contemporary for the breakfast.

The tip I got was to just consider taking a cab. I think someone told me it would only cost about $15, they can call for you at the front desk, and it just might be worth it to spend the extra bucks and save the stress.

Also, if you have little ones... I do... one thing I asked was: "What the heck do I do in a cab about carseats!?!" I didn't want to be unsafe, but I also didn't want to lug a carseat around WDW all day. Apparently a lot of the cab companies have cabs w/ carseats. You can request them when you call.

OR TAKE THE bUS TO THE mk AND MONORAIL TO THE CHEF MICKEYS..THE HOTEL WILL BE THE 1ST STOP...

Thanks, I do remember taking the bus to MK and then the monorail over on our last trip, our breakfast wasn't this early though. I guess if the buses don't run that early I could take a cab.

The buses start running an hour before the parks open.(this includes an hour before magic hour at the park and the early breakfast reservations) Hope this helps.

I'm a little anxious too! We have ressies for 7:35 on Thanksgiving morning w/ Lilo & Stitch ..plus we are also at Movies Resort.
Disney staff said the buses should be running to check w/ staff upon arrival. They also said to allow AT LEAST 45 minutes for bus transportation. I'm not really a morning person...my t-agent suggested we drive or take a cab as the safest bet.

We easily made an 8:05 reservation at MK on a morning the park did not open until 9 from all Star Movies in Oct. I know at SSR, we saw MK buses as early as 6:30 am. If you take the MK bus, you can also walk to the Contemporary. I have never done it, but have seen posts stating it is about a 5 minute walk.

YES!!!!! atleast that long, if your bus doesnt come for 20mins, that doesnt leave much travel time..we spent WAYYY too much time waiting/ and on buses .............we planned on 1 hr......SO we had ressies at 5:00 pm at the MK, we were at the ALL STAR MU bus stop for 3:45 pm..... DEF take this into factor when making ressies.....
