We are staying at ASMu and want to go to the Gospel Brunch at HOB on a Sunday morning. We need to be there about 10. Will the busses get us there in time, or should I consider the 1PM seating?

Thanks! :goodvibes

While waiting for a bus to Hollywood Studios or the Animal Kingdom around 8:00 AM, I have also seen buses for Downtown Disney and I guess since they share with Typhoon Lagoon that is the reason why. So they should be up and running in the mornings.

Usually around 1 hr before park opening of Typhoon Lagoon... So if Typhoon Lagoon opens at 10am, expect buses to start running at around 9:00a

Just remember that the bus will pick you up, then head to ASmo if there is room, then to TL, then to DTD, and then to PI which would be the stop you need for the HOB. Even with the PI stop, it will be a 5-7min walk to the other end of Pleasure Island where the club HOB is located. That trek could take anywhere from 30mins to an hour.

I think for us we would opt for the 1pm... just to be on the safe side (we're by no means "timely" folk :ssst:) or we'd consider taking a taxi. I guess it would all depend on what time TL opened that day and if they were having EMH that morning (summer time)

Unless things have changed a few years ago when going from DTD to the Contemporary in the mid afternoon, the bus left the Marketplace station which is where we got on, then went to the Pleasure Island station and then Typhoon Lagoon to drop people off and let others on.

Yes, starting in the afternoon the bus route does change. It will pick up at DTD and PI first, before heading to TL and then to the resorts.

In the morning, the buses stop at TL first due to guests trying to make park opening, arriving early for seats, etc. It's all based on "whos going where"... more people board the buses in the morning for TL while more people in the afternoon board the bus for DTD and PI since the water parks are just about to close. It's easier to drop people off at DTD first in the afternoon to clear up some room for those leaving TL around park closing. There wouldn't be enough seats if the buses went to TL first.

Thanks for that information because I had no idea the roye changes in the afternoon, although the more I think about it I agree that it makes more sense to stop 1st at Typhoon Lagoon in the mornings.
