How early do the boats from the Poly to MK run?

I did a quick search first and didn't see this info, but that doesn't mean that I didn't miss it - so if I did, I apologize for repeating!

How early do the boats from the Poly to MK start? We're staying at SoG and I'm planning to walk (or Shady Shuttle - anyone know if that's running right now?) over to the Poly and grab a boat on our MK day. Hoping the boats start early enough to get us there for rope drop.

Always a bit of variability here in terms of what can happen on any given Disney day, but it generally starts 45-60 minutes before park opening.

Another option in case of interest, with the Poly monorail station closed they are running buses from Poly to MK. Since you’re coming from SOG, you’d save a bit of walking time as the Poly bus stop is closer than walking out to the boat dock.

That's actually super helpful, thanks! I had totally blanked on the busses and the fact that the bus station is so close to where we come through from SOG - that will be very useful.

Another idea, if you are already walking from SoG, have you thought about just continue to walk and go from the Poly to MK via GF. We just got back from our trip and the morning walk from GF to the main gate is a nice walk and took about 15 minutes.

It's a good thought for me, and if I'm on my own (or maybe with the kids) I would definitely consider it. My husband has a lot of foot/knee/back problems (thanks, Air Force!) so we limit any extra walking for him.
