How early do I place my order with Garden Grocer & Magic Strollers?

Our trip is just (barely) under 4 months from now, and I was wondering how early I should place our order? 2 months in advance? 6 weeks? Longer? Shorter?

You could place those orders now. Both companies do a certain number of deliveries each day or have a certain number of strollers to rent. I would definitely rent the stroller and if you wanted to wait another month on the groceries you'd likely be fine. But both are capable of handling an order at a much later date.


BTW - We rented from Magic Strollers and loved the service and the stroller.

We leave on Monday for our trip. I placed our Garden Grocer order two days ago and the delivery time slots were wide open still. Depending on when you're going you might want to allow at least a couple of weeks.

I ordered our stroller 2 weeks ago as it will be delivered right along with our Owner's Lockers. This'll be our last trip using a stroller - we don't even really need it now, but it will be nice for DD to have a place to sit down from time to time. She loves to walk along with us, but her legs are still much shorter then the rest of us and she wears out by early afternoon - so it's there if we need it. Magic Strollers is much cheaper than those park strollers - especially for a 10 day trip. We used them back in October and the service and the stroller itself were both terrific.
