How early do buses run?

We have a breakfast scheduled at the Kona Cafe at 7:30 but now the MK doesn't open until 9:00 on that day - will we still be able to catch a bus from CSR & hop a monorail over to the Polynesian? Or should I push that breakfast time back a little?

I think you are going to have to push back your reservation. The buses are no longer running system-wide at 7:00 like they used to. They now begin running to a park about 45 minutes before the park opens. So, if MK is opening at 9:00 you will see the first buses from CSR to MK at 8:15 (sometimes a bit earlier).

Having said that, there IS a way to get there by about 8:00. Disney is now running a few buses through the resorts starting at about 7:30 to pickup guests going to the parks for early character breakfasts. These buses are marked "Character Breakfast". You could take that bus to MK, then take the Resort monorail around to the Poly. The monorail starts running at 7:30.
