How early Did you check in at the Poly?

How early did you check in at the Poly? We will hopefully stay in the Hawaii building come May 21st. Driving down the 20th, spend the night outside the world, and then will hit the resort around 10 or 11 am. If our room is not ready, we will just hit the parks. Anyone arrive that early and was able to check in?

We typically arrive arount 12:00 - 1:00 early afternoon and have never had to wait for our room. I hope you have the same good luck!!

We've checked in as early as 11:00, and they were able to give us our room right away!

It took us more than 24 hours to check in starting last Thursday. First they said they were overbooked and sent us to an awful room at the Contemporary. Then we didn't get a room until almost 3:00 Friday.

We actually checked in at 8:00 am, but weren't able to get in our room until 3:00. Bell services took all our luggage, including a bunch of grocery bags. That was great. We were willing to tote these ourselves later, but they insisted. We were gone to the parks for the day anyway, but I believe I got a lock on the room I wanted because we checked in early. I think when we check in May 04, if they tell me , "We have overbooked, sorry, you have to go to another resort, I would have a meltdown of some kind. I have read about the phone calls people are getting, and feel so bad for them! It is our dream vacation for the first time we go with the kids to stay at the Poly, and would break my heart if I couldn't stay there, after I had paid and made reservations ahead of time.
