How early can you put in a mobile breakfast order?

Hi all. We’ll be at YC next week and I was looking to do mobile orders from the Ale & Compass Marketplace before we head to the parks in the mornings. It looks like that is a pretty hot ticket, so I wanted to get on pretty early and grab a time slot. Does anyone know what time the system opens up in the morning to put your mobile orders in?

I was looking this morning because I wanted to get back to someone else.

I opened the app at 7am and clicked the order food button from the + at the bottom of the app. It looks like you can order from any restaurant, that has mobile orders, at that time, not sure how much earlier, but definitely by then. The default time frame for each restaurant is for when the restaurant opens for the day, but you can change to whatever time you want. So if you wanted to mobile order all your meals for the day as soon as you wake up... Or at least before going to the park, you can do that.

This is going to require some technical gymnastics as I am the only person in the family with an MDE account. We may give up on the idea altogether and bring some breakfast food to keep in the room. Definitely cheaper, anyway!

Oh dang. Yeah, they might open earlier, that was just the time I happened to be on the app, as I was doing the same thing you were! Lol. I usually wake up early, so I'll try again tomorrow morning and let ya know if know one else answers today.

Might be time to get everyone their own MDE account to handle it better.

FYI l...we’re on ME after 5 nights at YC. We did the marketplace for breakfast most mornings. Not once was our food ready In the time period we selected. They are sloooooow! Always at least 20-30min after the time we selected. Lots of upset people.

we walked over to BC marketplace twice and food was always ready when we arrived, and not nearly as chaotic!

It’s not open the night before.

I wasn’t thinking one morning, too worried about 7am boardinf Groups, and after I did that I went to order food and the time period was already 830 at the earliest!

Thanks! I did notice that the BC times were much more reasonable (although the selection wasn’t as pleasing to my pack of picky eaters). I think we’ll bring our own breakfast (at least for our early AK day).

I’m surprised my boys didn’t turn into Mickey waffles!

I slept weird last night and was able to look at 2am est and mobile order time slots weren't available and I checked again at 530 est, and time slots were available. I forgot to look specifically for A&C until 6am and by that time, 730am was the first time slot.

Alright, I've nailed it down, I believe. Mobile order goes online for the day at 4am est. Also, didn't realize when I said it yesterday, but A&C doesn't open until 730, so if you're up before 6, you should have a shot at first time slot for the day.

My experience is to order before open and “check in” as soon as it opens. Depending on my order that day, it was ready in 5-15 minutes. I’m usually standing there with 3 or 4 other people complaining that they didn’t get a boarding group!

Most places do allow you to enter if you have food allergies, but I’m not sure if there’s any rhyme or reason. Might actually be a good question on the “here now & just back” thread as you’ll likely get some answers from people currently or recently there that may have had to do in person ordering.

I wouldn’t expect it to take much longer than a normal order since they don’t start on mobile orders until the requester clicks the here now button. You’ll just be added to the end of that list once you place your order.

It opens when the cast member opening the location gets in there and opens it on the tablet. So anywhere from 615 to 630 it should show open. The first slot would be 7am and AFAIK it goes in 5min increments after that. There are only a few slots per 5min period.

If there is no allergy menu on the app then you have to go in person to order. If the menu is on the app then you can order from the allergy menu. Anytime you aren't sure if the food is safe then order in person. Better safe than sorry IMO.

Wait times will vary depending on a number of factors.
