How early can you be seated for an ADR?

If we have an ADR for 10:30am, can we be seated earlier (maybe 20-30 min earlier) if there is space available or do we have to wait until our exact reservation time? Thank you.

It will vary by restaurant, time, crowds, etc. We've been turned away showing up 30 minutes early, and others have reported being seated showing up early. No way to really predict. I guess I wouldn't go very far out of my way to show up early somewhere, but if I was in the area and wanted to, I might stop by the podium at the restaurant and see.

As the PP said, it depends. We have been seated a bit early just like we have been seated later then our ADR. It all depends n how busy they are. Can you always go arlier and ask if they have an earlier ADR.

I guess we will just stick to the recommendation that you show up no earlier/later than 15 min before your ADR time.

We tend to always be about 20-30mins early so we check in. Usually we are seated within 10 mins.

There have been 2 times (LeCellier and Crystal Palace) that we showed up an hour early and were seated within 10mins as well.

So if you wish to try, it doesn't hurt. Just also be prepared to wait until your adr time.

Same with us, we generally show up at least 30 minutes early and usually seated within 10 minutes....... EXCEPT for O'hana, doesn't matter what time we show up there is always a wait.
