I have an ADR for Rose and Crown for 6:30 pm.. This is all that was available but it is still a bit late for DH and me to eat. I will keep checking to see if I can change to an earlier time.. Meanwhile, How early can we show up to be seated? 5pm would be ideal for us. I realize that may not be possible but have any of you successfully been seated way before your reservation time? TIA

Often at many Epcot restaurants. The only exception for early seating has been BOG at MK. 5 pm can be a less busy seating time for a restaurant & you may well be seated within a few minutes so I would give it a try. Good luck!

We have been lucky a few times...we got to our 8am 'Ohana reservation at around 7:30am and were seated with very little wait. At Via Napoli, we showed up about an hour early and asked if they could seat us and they took us to a table immediately AND knew we had 3 birthdays in the group. Be Our Guest wouldn't let us go up until 15 minutes before our ADR time, though.

If I were you, and no early time opens up, I'd get there around the time you prefer to eat, tell them you have an ADR for later, but you would like to know if they have any seating available currently.

Fingers crossed for you :) Good luck and have fun :-):-)

:thanks: Thank you so much! You have given me hope! If we eat too late... we don't sleep well that night..:cloud9:

We do it frequently. The ONLY place that flat out told us we couldn't was Le Cellier. Everywhere else told us they would get us in when they could and it never took long at all. However, we never go during busy times. I would think this would be harder during peak season.

I agree with LeCellier, do not show up early. We did and the hostess staff were extremely rude about it. We were there 30 minutes before our reservation. We were asked to come back at 10 minutes before, so I did. We were then told we were still to early and to come back in 5 minutes. It wasn't just please come back it was a bad attitude like I was bothering her after she was the one I spoke with every time. Not a fun experience, I followed what she said. Plenty of other nice restaurants on property that I do not have to deal with rude hostess staff. I was polite and didn't deserve that treatment, there was no excuse.

I guess it all depends on the day. We've been seated early by 30 minutes and we've also had to wait about 20 minutes after our adr time even though we checked in 10 minutes early! So it can go either way!

It depends on your size of your party and timing at the restaurant. We were 30 min early for sci fi today and they didn't seat us until our regular ADR. However we are a party of 5 so we needed a big table. I didn't mind.

You are 5 months out. Keep looking for the ressie you want is less stressful than worrying about being turned away.

I would watch out for getting hit with a $10 pp no-show fee. I've read a couple of reports of people that were seated outside the usual 15-minute grace window (earlier or later) and they saw the $10 pp charge on their cc and had to have it straightened out. I rather not deal with that kind of stuff on our vacation (there's 4 of us, so $40!).

I don't know if you can specifically ask about this at the restaurant when you get seated. It also, doesn't happen to everyone, so probably a CM that hasn't been able to scroll through the whole list of reservations for the day.
