How early can I check-in?

My reservation says that check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am...When is the earliest that I can check-in? Last time I got to ASMu around 12:30 and there was a room ready for me. I'm thinking this time I'd like to get there around 8:00-9:00 so that I can cram a full MK day into my trip. Has anyone tried to do this and succeeded? This time I'm staying at POP.

You can check in as early as you want. no guarantee a room will be ready though, but you can still check in and be on your way to the parks.
Romm availability all depends on how full the resort is, how many are checking out, and when they check out. I have had rooms ready before 9 and sometimes not until after 2.
The less requests you made for your room, the better the chances of a room being available for you early. Those who have 8 or 9 requests and get too specific, limit the inventory their room can be chosen from.

We checked in at 9:00 last Saturday but we didnt get our room assignment until 2:30

You can check in as early as you would like. The CMs at the resort should take care of your bags for you and at most resorts even place them in your room for you (in my experience) as soon as your room is assigned, and they give you a # that you can call to check and see if your room is available for you yet. Then you can go get some extra hours to frolic around the parks

I've always been able to get into my room well before check in. I usually travel in the off season though...
