We have a reservation at Shula's at the Dophin next Sunday. I have never been to a Shula's before, but my husband has been to one when travelling for work. The one he was at enforced a dress code (no shorts/jeans/sneakers) but when I made the reservation online through Disney's website, it said the dress code is business casual (which to me means no shorts/jeans/sneakers). But then when it gives details it seems to indicate jeans or dress shorts are ok. Will my husband be able to get in wearing khaki shorts, a polo shirt, and sneakers, or should we pack long khakis and dress shoes? I'm planning on wearing a sundress regardless of dress code so I'm not concerned about what I need for myself - but he typically only wears shorts/jeans when we are in Disney so we don't normally pack anything other than that for him.

A nice pair of shorts and a polo shirt will be fine. I would ditch the sneakers.

Thanks for the info! My husband has other shoes he can take but will be happy to hear nice shorts are ok. He has to wear a suit for work everyday so he likes being able to dress casual when we are on vacation - although he would have been willing to wear long pants and dress shoes for a good steak dinner ;)

If you don't want to dress up, I would check with them and see what they mean by business casual.

When I was in Vegas recently, We went to a very nice steakhouse(Delmonico's) and since I didn't plan on going anywhere fancy, all I had with me were sneakers and flip flops. Went in with a golf shirt, shorts and sneakers and nobody seemed to care(In fact, there were some guests with tshirts on).

Ate there 2 weeks ago, saw ALL manner of dress.

If you can pay the tab, I don't believe your attire concerns them.

Thanks everyone! I'm starting to get clothes out now and am glad I don't need to worry about making room for the dressier clothes. We are only going for a couple of days so I can now avoid taking a bigger suitcase :thumbsup2
