How dressed up do people get for Cirque de Soleil?

I've heard differing reports. Some have said most people get dressed up, meaning men in khakis and sport shirts, women in something nicer than a tee and shorts. The CM I talked to when I ordered the tickets said most people wear what they wear to the parks, which I would think means just a tee and shorts.

If you've gone before, please let me know what is appropriate dress. We leave in 2 days - Woohoo!

You'll see everything from shorts and tees to semi-formal. I prefer a skirt and nice blouse with gents in slacks or dress shorts and a polo. It's a nice excuse for something a bit special, including your outfit.

We have always gone after coming from the hotel after a day at the park so do get cleaned up a bit. I usually wear some nicer crop pants and nicer shirt and DH has gone in jeans and a nicer shirt. Trust me you'll see plenty of people in 'park attire'.

We always go back the resort to relax and change for dinner. We wear what they call resort casual and sometimes a little dresser, it depends on where we are going to dinner. I have seen all kinds of dress at the show though.

We decided to go spur of the moment, so we were just dressed for a night out shopping and dining at DD - shorts, t-shirt, etc. We fit in just fine. There were people that were a bit more dressed up - skirts, dress pants, etc.., but I don't think we stuck out at all. I would say casual to semi-casual would be a safe bet.

Thanks to the OP for posting this... My FH and I are going to be going on Tuesday night (7/12) and we will be at Epcot all day, so I was debating on what to wear. Now I know it will be a prairie skirt, and a nice tank. Thanks again!!

I've worn a sleeveless blouse and shorts before, and DH wore a polo shirt and nice docker shorts.
