I have never been to Universal Studios and we are planning a trip there for September! We will be there for 3 days and then going to Disney world for a week (3rd time i've been) Im feeling a little bit overwhelmed trying to plan the Universal part because I have never been.
We have two day park to park tickets and tickets to see the blue man group.
here is what i have so far...

September 5th:
We will arrive around 4-5pm that evening and check into Royal pacific. I thought we could just check out the resort and relax or maybe check out city walk.

September 6th:
Get up early and go to Universal for park opening. Spend all day there, eat at Finnegans. Hopefully see the night time show.

September 7th:
IOA today, early park entry for HP!! eat breakfast at the three broomsticks!
Mythos later if we have time? We will also be going to see the Blue man group tonight from what I have seen I believe show starts at 4:00PM.

September 8th:
We are getting up early and checking out. Heading to Walt Disney World!!:yay:

What do you think?
Does anyone have any other opinions?? :]
I'd really like to hear them!

I bought my package online & when I started looking at it I seen that most everything (my express pass, tickets, etc.) have the date September 5th by them. I hope that does not mean that I have to use my tickets that day. Like I said I plan to arrive late on the first day and just relax...

that's the start day of your package, 5th..

check one line for the nights that the cinematic water show will be held.
you can always switch you park days.
if you have PtP tix, even better.

there are times that Mythos has a closing of around 4:00ish.
you can be seated and go past that time to eat but not get in after the closing time.

sure on arrival day check out the hotels and dine at city walk.
you'll see universal all lit up at night, it is beautiful.
use the water taxi from CW to return to your hotel to see more of the place lit up in the evening.
CW closes at 2:00 am, RPH restaurant Jakes, closes earlier than CW.

about blue man group, i have only been to the 7:00 pm or later (9:00pm?) shows.
never saw it as early as you have your tickets for the performance.

i hope you have a wonderful vacation stay at the darkside. ::yes::

Thanks so much for the input! :thumbsup2

yeahh I dont remember where I seen the 4PM time for the blue man group, that might be wrong lol. We are just about finished paying for our trip and then I assume they will send my tickets then I should know a time for sure...

about how early do schedules come out for stuff like that .. for the night time show, park hours, etc??
